Pithay Studios – B8

The Space

B8 is in the part of Pithay Studios that is occupied by ‘hands-on’ people, but we’re open to it being used in a number of ways. It is a good value room, mostly due to the lack of natural light. Pithay Studios

Pithay Studios is a 16 000 square foot, mixed-use workspace. The two floors had been home to a large gym but had lain dormant for years, finally acquired by Meanwhile Creative in April 2014. Following a lick of paint and a few partition walls, the building was quickly populated with Bristol’s creative and entrepreneurial folk.

The project enjoys a good community spirit and relaxed atmosphere amongst tenants making it a perfect environment for informal networking and collaboration. Around one hundred people use the facility including designers, developers, photographers, fashion brands, charities and musicians. It features around 25 private studios, an open plan desk suite for 30, a gym, dance studio and café. Find out more about Pithay Studios.

Pithay Studios is situated in an extremely desirable location, right in the heart of Bristol, adjacent to the popular Broadmead shopping area and a stones throw from the striking Castle Park. With growing attention being drawn to the area, it’s undoubtedly an up and coming area for creative enterprise and business.

Two minutes walk and one finds the historic Old City featuring St. Nick’s market which offers the largest collection of independent retailers in Bristol, full to the brim with unique shopping and marvelous street food. Neighbouring Corn Street, presents a cosmopolitan atmosphere, a hub of restaurants and bars. Just a short stroll away is Bristol’s famous Waterfront and harbour, the perfect place to relax.
